Since Austin Community College District (ACC) closed its campuses and centers in mid-March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a small number of classes — primarily in workforce-related programs in health sciences and applied technologies such as welding tech, auto tech, and nursing — are once again meeting in person on ACC campuses. There are approximately 1,000 students back on campus districtwide.
ACC employees and students returning to campus are required to follow new health and safety protocols, which include answering some questions via a new health screening app.
The app can be accessed in three secure ways — mobile download, a web-based version, or by using an iPad available at the door.
In case you missed it, below is a conversation with ACC President/CEO Dr. Richard M. Rhodes discussing the return to campus process and answering submitted questions.
