ACC's Office of Student Life served 27,469 students during the 2018-19 academic year, an 11 percent increase from the year before, according to latest Student Life Annual Report.
Additionally, the number of student interactions has increased by 78 percent from the 2017-2018 academic year, which can be attributed to the opening of the San Gabriel Campus, increased awareness and usage of various programs, and new partnerships.
"This year in Student Life, we have continued in our venture to provide excellent service to our students based on collaboration, technology, innovation, and diverse thought," writes Cheryl Richard, Student Life director, in the annual report Director's Note. "Utilizing data has enabled us to add new student-driven programs such as the Fresh Food Distribution in collaboration with the Central Texas Food Bank and to retire other programs that were not as effective."
The report features data, highlights, and student testimonials about programs produced by Student Life including the food pantry, student ambassadors, and Success Series workshops.
